The Practice Built on
Genuine Care.
Dr. Meredith Addess and our team believe every patient deserves care that addresses the root cause — not just the symptoms. We’ve been serving Spanish Fort and Baldwin County with that philosophy since 2004.
Dr. Meredith grew up in South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Journalism from Florida International University and Florida Atlantic University. But it was what happened next that set the course for her life’s work.
She joined the Peace Corps and spent over two years in the Dominican Republic — focused not on treating illness, but on teaching communities how to stay healthy from the inside out. She formed educational groups, trained local health advocates, and built programs designed to outlast her time there. That experience gave her a profound belief in the body’s capacity to heal itself when given the right support.
When she returned to the United States, she devoted herself entirely to chiropractic care — a field she saw as the natural extension of everything she’d learned abroad. She graduated from Life University in Marietta, Georgia in 2004, receiving her Doctor of Chiropractic. She has been practicing in Spanish Fort ever since, building a reputation for genuine, thorough, patient-centered care that gets results.
Dr. Meredith treats patients of all ages — from newborns to seniors, pregnant mothers, competitive athletes, and everyone in between. Her approach is always the same: take the time to understand each patient’s unique situation, identify the root cause of the problem, and create a plan that addresses it without drugs or surgery.
